Wholesomeness I didn’t think I needed

I came across this podcast while looking for something to occupy my mind when working at night braiding horses (ik random) but, it’s literally just me in the dark with a headlamp, a horse, and my own thoughts, so this is a nice gem I found.
So far, I’ve listened to about 75% of the episodes and I started in June 2019. I absolutely love the set up and the people involved; you all make me laugh out loud in dead silence and make every story spooky enough for me to look over my shoulder sometimes! So witty and so knowledgeable. Absolutely love you all and I will become a patron in the near future to show my support!
STAY WEIRD!

I love this show!

I discovered your podcast when I was going through some things and y’all’s energy has seriously given me life! Thank y’all so much for your very informative and fun podcast!

It’s a family

I really enjoy this podcast. I was referred to it by a friend early this summer and I’ve been working my way through the archives ever since. Erik, Mary, Sara, the Corgis, and all the rest are like my little family in Utah that I’ve never met.

During the duration of this class I have learned a lot about native american culture. Reading Antelope Wife, The Indian Killer, The Toughest Indian In The World, and The Lakota Way have allowed me to take away many life lessons. I originally chose to take this class to gain knowledge I could apply and incorporate into my art education and I have gained knowledge that will be very helpful for that. But after taking this course I have also gained a great sum of knowledge that was interesting to learn about and that I can live by in my everyday life. In the book the Antelope Wife I wouldn 't say I had a connection with any one of the characters but rather a fascination with the idea of a human being raised by animals. What really interested me in the story was the narrator shifted from the physical world to a spiritual setting. Animals who are capable of communicating with humans as well as lend them there physical traits makes for an eye catching story! Although this wasn 't my favorite book from the semester I did enjoy this specific part of the reading.Indian Killer was by far my favorite book we have read in this class. Reading the books with mystery throughout them are my favorite and this one specifically caught my attention from the beginning. The one character from the book that I loved and related the most to was Marie. Marie had a very strong personality and thats why she stood out to me. Marie to me represented a strong independent women who spoke
