As far as I can tell, this is the oldest retail version of Half-Life, with none of the engine updates and the 'leaning' or head bobbing that was later removed normally seen in ID software games. Part 1 - The News
NeuWON is a replacement server done by the same group who has done WON2/Steamless CS Project. They have expanded their replacement servers to more games outside of GoldSrc. The NeuWON Department of the team has released a new patch for the old client of Half-Life. The first release of client 1.1.1.0 dissapointed lots of players by getting rid of most great features. Then they released 1.1.1.1, which was full of bugfixes. I think it also patched bhopping. 1.1.1.2 is the WON2 patch for HL's 1.1.1.0 version line.

The NeuWON department of the WON2 group has, like I said, released 1.1.1.3 as the newest patch to HL's 1.1.1.0 version line.

Upon installing, I had to register a NeuWON account. It was very easy. After registering, I installed the patch. It took about 2-3 minutes. After installing, I was given a CD-KEY to access NeuWON. It is hardwired to the system. I opened HL, and to my amazement, it still said 1.1.1.2 in the corner. I was quite confused. Upon playing, nothing was changed in terms of gameplay. What do you think of these guys releasing 1.1.1.3? Let me know.
